波のブレイク特徴 (ビーチブレイク (砂底)): 14秒以上の長周期うねりは海底の火山棚に接触すると即座に屈折し、テイクオフゾーンに175 kJの波浪エネルギーを集中させながら綺麗にブレイクします。隣接する水路が水流をスムーズに逃がすため、サーファーがインパクトゾーンに引き込まれるのを防ぎます。
